Unfortunately, sometimes scammers attempt to commit fraud by pretending to be from Dezeen Jobs.
The scammers will generally use our brand name and logo without our permission to post fake job ads on other platforms and then attempt to extract personal details and/or money from unsuspecting applicants. In particular, we have noticed fraudulent activity on the platform Upwork.
Whenever we are made aware of these scams, we contact the relevant platform and demand that the fraudulent ad is taken down. But unfortunately, the scammers often post new fake ads faster than we are able to get them taken down.
Please look out for such activity and report it to us if you see it.
Also, please be aware that Dezeen Jobs will never:
– post positions on any platform other than dezeenjobs.com or our Dezeen Jobs social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and X
– contact jobseekers by any means other than via an official @dezeen.com or @dezeenjobs.com email address
– charge jobseekers a fee to apply for roles
– ask jobseekers to transfer money or make a payment for any reason
If you see an ad with Dezeen Jobs branding that you think might be fraudulent, please let us know immediately at [email protected] so we can investigate it.
Please also contact us if anyone claiming to be from Dezeen Jobs contacts you via WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram or any other messaging service other than an official @dezeen.com or @dezeenjobs.com email address, or if you encounter anything else relating to Dezeen Jobs that seems suspicious.
